Nashville, TN (March 19, 2009) - Parent company Backhand Productions is proud to announce the launch of Revival Productions, a California-based full-service entertainment and special events production company specifically created to connect their unique team of Hollywood entertainment pros with faith-based and family-oriented community organizations and initiatives.

Owned and operated by award-winning producer Jeff Atlas, Revival Productions was created to fill a conspicuously empty niche in the faith and family market with experienced, top-notch production professionals.

A seasoned pro, Atlas has served as a producer for network TV series and specials for ABC, NBC, MTV, Nickelodeon and TNT. His producing credits also include national conventions for the National Urban League and the National Hispanic Council on Aging, as well as galas including the Capital Awards in Washington D.C. and the Equal Opportunity Day Dinner in NYC. This production experience, combined with years of service in several prominent churches, informed his decision to launch Revival Productions.

Atlas has gathered an extraordinary team for Revival Productions. With more than 50 years of collective experience in television and special event production in both Hollywood and the faith-based community, their long list of credits includes the Super Bowl, HBO comedy specials, network sitcoms, MTV and Nickelodeon series, Presidential nominating conventions, the Emmy Awards, the GRAMMY Awards, the American Music Awards and the Olympic Games, just to name a few. The individual team members' resumes read like a "Who's Who" of Hollywood production.

• Creative Director Bruce Ryan has designed hundreds of television productions, including the 39th GMA Dove Awards, the Emmy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards, "Will and Grace," the Kids' Choice and Teen Choice Awards, stand-up comedy specials for George Carlin and Robin Williams, and music specials for Cher, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.
• Director Chuck Vinson is a two-time Emmy Award nominee with hundreds of hours of television to his credit, including five seasons of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," the Stellar Awards, the NAACP Music Image Awards and comedy specials for Academy Award winner and GRAMMY-nominated actor/singer/comedian Jamie Foxx and popular stand-up comedians Alonzo Bodden and Tess.
• Lighting designer Christian Epps' past clients include Nike, IBM, Sprite and McDonald's. In addition, he has lit productions in prominent venues including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Apollo Theater and The White House.

Multifaceted, Revival Productions offers a host of services tailored to churches that are not typically seen by other production companies, such as designing new sanctuaries or remodeling existing ones. Working hand-in-hand with the church client throughout the creative process to customize the sanctuary to fit the church's specific needs, goal and budget, the Revival team oversees not only stage design but all other critical design elements, including lighting, video, audio, acoustics and more.
