Lighting Designer Christian Epps specializes in creative lighting for television, special events, film, and live theatre.

With over 20 years of experience, Christian has serviced a long list of diverse clients from Canada to Mexico and across the Atlantic. You’ve seen his work in commercials for such global powerhouses as Nike, IBM, Sprite, and McDonald’s. . Legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, and The Apollo Theatre have all featured Christian’s lighting.

Christian’s work has been seen in feature films for directors Spike Lee, Hype Williams, and Nick Castle as well as numerous high profile music videos.

Christian grew up on the U.S. Virgin Island of St. Thomas. He began his career in creative lighting design while still in high school and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Technical Theatre: Lighting and Scenery, from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Christian continued his education as a graduate scholarship student of Lighting Design at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

In March 2007, the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle and Angstrom Lighting Company awarded the Career Achievement Award to Mr. Epps.
